Join us for our quarterly community meeting of the Green Party of New Orleans.
There's a lot going on locally. In fact, it seems that there is more organizing around Green issues in New Orleans than ever in recent memory.
In particular, at this meeting, we'll discuss how we can support the upcoming climate strikes. We'll also take a critical look at the upcoming statewide elections. There are no Green candidates on the ballot, but we're particularly interested to reaching out to select candidates who share our Green values, particularly those without party affiliation.
Of course, we can't do anything without you. We don't have any hired actors waiting in the wings. Your volunteer efforts are the key to building a people-powered platform.
All are welcome to this meeting, which is open to the general public. The library requests everyone to use the elevator rather than the stairs. We're not sure why, exactly, but we like meeting here, so please use the elevator!
