GreenPrint for New Orleans
With an eye on the 2006 city council elections—just over a year
away—Robert Caldwell and Jason Neville
are coordinating the development of a “Greenprint for New Orleans”
which outlines our program for the city. It is a comprehensive,
inspirational, hopeful, radical, multi-tendencied, full-color and
printed-on-recycled-paper, plan that we will use to recruit new members
and to field candidates for the city elections.
We have gotten enthusiastic feedback from several activists and community
leaders who are eager to help us document our vision for progressive
change in New Orleans. This will truly be a city-wide, diverse,
grassroots project that will reflect our Green values not only in
its prescriptions, but the process of its development as well.
