Sixty percent of Americans now say that a third party is needed to represent them.  For progressives, the Green Party is the clear choice for environmental justice, social equity, peace, and true democracy.  Greens from across Louisiana are holding a statewide convention on January 25th in New Orleans.  The keynote speaker is 2012 Green Party Presidential Candidate Jill Stein.  The event is open to all registered Greens in Louisiana and will include issue-based discussions, workshops on running for office, and election of statewide officers.
